"WINTERTON - KILLED IN ACTION.- The sad news has been received by Mr. Geo. Green, Earlsgate that his son Harold had been killed in action about three weeks since. He had been transferred from the Lincolns to the Lancaster’s. It was only in September that his brother Carey, was killed by a hand grenade explosion. These were his only two sons, and much sympathy is expressed with he and his wife in their sad loss."
