"DIED IN HOSPITAL - After receiving a letter from him saying that he would be home this month, Mr and Mrs W. Johnson, of 12 Low Street, Winterton, have had news from the War Office that their son, Dvr. Rowland Johnson R.A.S.C., died after a short illness, in No.1. General Hospital M.E.F. Dvr. Johnson who was 28 years old, had been abroad over four years."
